Getting Started With Downloadable Audiobooks

From any page in our main Web site, click on Book Buzz.

Click on AUDIOBOOKS along the top.
Select inside the library or home access.
Log into your NetLibrary account. You must create a free account with NetLibrary before downloading material for the first time. Click “Create a Free Account” from the links at the top right and follow the instructions. (This account is separate from your library account.) Please note - if you have Internet or Windows firewall software on your computer, you may have problems with this step. See our Help page for more information about firewalls.
Search for a title using one of the options available.
Click Download this Audiobook.
Choose a Download Quality. Select CD Quality if you intend to transfer to a personal media device.
After the download is complete, you must open the file on your computer to acquire a license.

You may download up to 10 audiobooks. The audiobooks still have a check out period of 21 days but there is never a waiting list for any title. The books can be renewed once, and the file automatically "expires" at the end of the lending period. No waiting; no holds; and no fines.

Currently, the downloadable audiobooks collection is not compatible with i-Pod or Macintosh systems. Copyright issues prevent users from putting the audiobooks on a CD.
