You will need your library card and PIN to use databases from home.

  • Kids InfoBits (inside the library | home access) - Find information from newspapers and magazines on many subjects including famous people, history, animals and inventions. Also contains photos.
  • SIRS Discoverer (inside the library | home access) - Discover lots of information, images, maps and photos from newspapers, magazines and government documents.  Sort the information by reading level.

  • Ask Jeeves for Kids - Need help? Type in your question and Jeeves will reply with a list of good sites.

  • How Stuff Works - Wonder why cats have whiskers? What makes an iPod work? Look for interesting facts on many subjects.
  • Internet Public Library's Kid Space - Looking for science fair project ideas? Math help? Techniques on playing sports? It's all here.
  • Yahooligans - Yahoo for 7-12 year olds.
