Kids in Print
Psst! Picasso! Pick up a pen and draw a picture or write a poem or story. Who knows? You could be the next Shel Silverstein.
Here’s your chance to get published! Kids in Print showcases the talents of young writers and artists in the Midlands.
- Who can enter? Kids ages six to 18 living in the Midlands may submit their work.
- What? Original poetry, essays, short stories and drawings will be accepted. All written entries must be typed or hand written in black ink or pencil on 8.5 x 11 inch white paper. Draw all artwork in black ink on 8.5 x 11 inch white paper.
- When? Entries are accepted at all RCPL locations. The deadline for the next edition of Kids in Print is December 5, 2008.
- How? Just download* and print the entry form and guidelines, or pick up a form at any RCPL location in the fall of 2008.
