![]() Where the Wild Things Are Mural and Free-Standing Scenes, Maurice Sendak, Author/Illustrator A 46-foot-mural enhances the garden area and two freestanding scenes greet the patrons as they enter the Children's Room. RCPL is the only location where Maurice Sendak has allowed his artwork to be used as public art. Michael Hagen, an internationally recognized scenic painter, produced the artwork.
Special exhibits are featured throughout the year, including photography, water colors, mosaics and mixed media. |
