Escape to the Lowcountry this Summer at RCPL!

Escape to the Lowcountry with the Friends of RCPL to celebrate the release of Dorothea Benton Frank’s new novel, Return to Sullivan’s Island, at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, July 10 at the Richland County Public Library, 1431 Assembly St.

Enjoy a fun-filled evening featuring a book discussion and signing, barbeque, beach music and dancing, and a beach themed auction. Tickets, which are only $25 for Friends’ members and $30 for nonmembers, can be purchased online at www.myRCPL.com/friends or by calling 929-3475.

Frank will sign copies of her latest novel, Return to Sullivan’s Island, which will be available for purchase. The New York Times best-selling author of Sullivan’s Island, Isle of Palms and Full of Grace, Frank is a nationally recognized fundraiser for education and the arts, as well as an advocate of literacy programs and women’s issues. Born and raised on Sullivan’s Island, she currently splits her time between her home in the New York area and Sullivan’s Island.
