Groove to Junkadelic Folk Music at RCPL!

Nationally known musician, Billy Jonas, who sings and plays instruments made from recycled objects, will perform at two Richland County Public Library Summer Reading Club Celebrations on Tuesday, June 9.

Jonas will take the stage at:

10:30 a.m., Tuesday, June 9
Hosted by RCPL’s Sandhills Branch, 699-9230, but held at North Springs Elementary School on Clemson Road to accommodate a large audience.

3 p.m., Tuesday, June 9
Bostick Auditorium of the Main Library, 1431 Assembly St., 929-3434.  

Although the performances are free and open to children of all ages, tickets are required for admission to the performance at North Springs Elementary School. Please call RCPL’s Sandhills Branch at 699-9230 for more information.

Performing nationally since 1987, Jonas uses instruments made from found objects and performs original compositions, appealing to the “creative energy in everyone.” This year marks Jonas’ ninth performance at RCPL, drawing maximum capacity crowds and developing enthusiastic fans of all ages.
