Need help with a school assignment? Need to develop or improve your lesson plans? Need to help your child with homework?
Check out SchoolRooms, a new discovery and learning portal for South Carolina!
The Richland County Public Library is one of 10 pilot sites working with the South Carolina State Library to launch SchoolRooms, a multimedia online learning portal for the K-12 community designed to improve learning in South Carolina. The State Library hopes to have SchoolRooms available to all South Carolina citizens by this fall, just in time for a new school year.
- SchoolRooms combines teacher-selected, standards-driven content with a user friendly format.
- Content is available for students at the elementary, middle and high school level.
- Audience guides for teachers, librarians and parents are also available to help as they work with their children or students.
- DISCUS databases and state specific content, such as SC ETV resources and digital collections, will also be integrated.
