Summer Reading Clubs for all Ages

Join RCPL's Summer Reading Clubs and get rewarded for reading! Children, teens and adults can register at any RCPL location from May 31 through August 14.

Special Summer Reading Club celebrations will be held throughout the summer. Find out What’s Happening Today or stop by any library location to pick up a calendar of events.

RCPL Summer Reading Celebrations

Mark your calendars early for a special teens only Summer Reading Wrap-Up Party from 6:30 - 8 p.m. on Friday, August 15 at the Main Library and an all ages Wrap-Up Party, featuring children's rock sensation Lunch Money, from 6:30 - 8 p.m. on Saturday, August 16 at the Southeast Regional Branch. Summer reading club- RCPL Read & Relax for ages 18 and up

Cool off with summer reading and win! Everyone who reads five books will earn a small prize and a coupon for a free book from a Friends of RCPL Book Sale. Eleven lucky winners will win a $50 gift certificate to The Happy Bookseller and a Friends of RCPL book bag. One grand prize winner will receive a MP3 player. Summer Reading Program for Teens- RCPL Get Real, Get Reading (Get Stuff) for teens

Read to Me Summer Reading Club RCPL 2008 Summer Reading Club and Read-to-Me Club for ages 12 and under

Explore the world of books and feed your imagination at the library. Special recognition is given to children who read five, 10 and 15 books! Children too young to read can participate by having others read to them. Questions? Call 929-3434.
